HSW Pupils

We asked our pupils what they enjoy and what they like most about Hall School Wimbledon…

I like our new playground. We get to ride the bikes round the track and have to stop at the traffic lights.” Theo, Reception

I like going on trips – especially to the Lookout Discovery Centre.”
Abbie, Year 1

I really enjoy playing with my friends. When I first came to this school I was shy but I’m not anymore.” Josh, Year 2

We started a new subject this year. It is called RaRE (Reading and Research). The lesson is very interesting as we learn facts that we have to discover for ourselves. I found out about crocodiles.”
Thomas, Year 3

The best things about this school are cross country, birthday lunches, Maths lessons, hockey and Santa visiting at Christmas.”
Daniella, Year 4

It’s a great school. I have made so many great friends here and the teachers are very encouraging. I have been here since Reception and I am looking forward to moving on to the Senior School.” Millie, Year 5

My favourite thing about Hall School Wimbledon is its unique way of celebrating children’s birthdays by baking cakes and putting a toy on the top. I think that’s really special.” Emilia, Year 6

I like Hall School Wimbledon because we do sports at least once a day and it keeps us fit.” Tom, Year 7

One of the things I enjoy most about Hall School Wimbledon is the variety – whether it’s the kind of sport we play, the food we eat or the lessons we learn.” Ry, Year 8

I like the fact that the school is small because it means that you know everyone and it’s easy to find your way around. I also like the variety of instrumental lessons here – you can learn to play the trombone, drums, violin, piano, singing and theory.” Clare, Year 9

The best thing about the school is that it’s so open and welcoming. It’s not a strongly religious school but it won’t accept ‘bullies’.” Oliver, Year 10

The enthusiasm and attitudes of pupils and teachers at Hall School Wimbledon helps to create an environment that is perfect for working in and serves as excellent preparation for future careers.” Chris, Year 11
