Hall School Wimbledon has a reputation for being a very friendly school and pastoral care is fundamental to our school ethos. We provide a safe, secure, stimulating and happy environment, which allows children to reach their full potential both academically and socially.
At Hall School Wimbledon, we want every pupil to feel liked, appreciated and valued. We notice when children need help, we welcome them back to school after an illness or holiday and we celebrate every child’s birthday.
We believe in taking time to care for the whole child and, as such, we aim to nurture their emotional wellbeing and encourage life management skills alongside academic development.
Every child has a Senior Tutor who gets to know each pupil very well and takes an active interest in his or her overall development. In an important sense though, every teacher at Hall School Wimbledon is a mentor and is available to provide support and advice to all pupils.
Mr Timothy Hobbs, the Headmaster, divides his time equally between the Junior and Senior schools and tours both buildings, joining classes and lunches every day. He is approachable and freely available to any child who wishes to see him.
