GCSE Results 2011

84% of GCSE examinations taken (including English and Mathematics) achieved A*- C grades while 36% of all GCSEs were graded A* or A.

Please note that this may differ from published results (in league tables) by up to 5%. This is because children (perhaps with an August birthday) who are one year behind will only have one GCSE accounted for during Year 11. Published results do not take into account pupils who take GCSEs early.

In 2011:

• 26 candidates sat Religious Studies GCSE in Year 10
• 1 candidate sat Italian GCSE in Year 10 (A*)
• 2 candidates sat Japanese GCSE in Year 10  (A*s)
