Years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11) are the Preparatory Years. A class teacher remains responsible for each class and is the main pastoral link between school and home. The children experience a broad, balanced, creative  and stimulating curriculum taught by specialist teachers for all subjects and these teachers have a high level of subject knowledge in their particular field.  The range of subjects that the children study throughout these years are: English, Mathematics, Science, French, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Music, Art, ICT, Drama and Games. We are proud of our facilities which include spacious and well-resourced classrooms as well as dedicated specialist areas  such as the Science Room, the Art Studio, the Music Room, the Drama Studio and fun and safe play areas.
