Hall School Wimbledon Senior School is located on The Downs in Wimbledon, within walking distance of Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon Village and equidistant from Wimbledon and Raynes Park mainline stations. Accommodating around 270 children from Years 7 to 11 (aged 11 to 16 years), the Senior School is designed to provide a robust yet nurturing environment for our older children.
The original Victorian building houses the dining hall, an elegant library filled with giant beanbags, the Headmaster’s study, ICT suites, the design technology room and a number of classrooms. The newer buildings accommodate the science laboratories, sports hall, art studio, music room and additional classrooms.
The grounds of the Senior School have been beautifully landscaped and include two outdoor courts marked up for netball, hockey, volleyball and five-a-side football, a traversing climbing wall, a garden and a wooden pagoda with benches.
At Hall School Wimbledon Senior School, we are determined to give our pupils every opportunity to make the most of their abilities through a combination of excellent teaching and a supportive learning environment. We continue to nurture individual strengths and encourage every child to reach his or her potential both academically and socially. Our broad and balanced curriculum ensures that all children are given the chance to shine and all achievements are valued and celebrated.
As the children progress through the Senior School, life management and coping skills are developed alongside academic careers and it is the ‘all round child’ who leaves our school, well prepared for further education and life.
