26th November 2021Year 11 Drama – Blood Brothers at New Victoria Theatre
As part of their GCSE Drama curriculum which requires pupils to study and explore one set play, Year 11 had a wonderful opportunity to see the critically acclaimed production of Blood Brothers by Willy Russell at The New Victoria Theatre, Woking on Thursday. This experience will support them to achieve the highest level possible in their written component.
Pupils' feedback
Adam: "Amazing experience, incredible acting, singing and orchestra. Influenced by Epic Theatre but with very real issues in society and life, the piece challenged the audience whilst making us laugh."
Abigail: "I found the play fascinating, the set, costume and music was amazing, at the end of the play I was in tears. My favourite characters were the narrator and Sammy. I would definitely recommend buying your tickets and seeing the play for yourself."
Luisa: "It was interesting and useful to be able to see the play live. I enjoyed it a lot and it helped me understand the story better."
Zoe: "It was really great to see Blood Brothers at the theatre, I loved to see how they brought it to life in a new way."
