Admissions and Entry
What age groups does Hall School Wimbledon accept?
HSW welcomes pupils from Year 3 (approx. age 7) to Year 13 (approx. age 18).
Is the school selective?
HSW is non-selective and welcomes children of all backgrounds, abilities, and ambitions.
What does the admissions process look like?
This stress-free process includes an enquiry, school tour, taster day, interview, followed by a request for a current school reference. An offer is then made and acceptance.
Can I apply mid-year?
Yes. The school accepts applications for occasional places throughout the year.
Fees and Funding
What are the current fees?
Year 5–6: £7,049.20 | Year 7: £8,169.38 | Year 8–13: £8,414.18 per term which includes VAT.
What do the fees include?
Tuition, textbooks, exercise books, and lunches (with snacks). Extras apply for some of the extracurricular clubs, school trips or additional services (EAL or any therapeutic sessions).
Does HSW offer any financial support?
Yes, this is done on a case-by-case basis. This is a discussion between the family and the Headteacher.
Curriculum and School Life
What is the ethos of HSW?

What support is there for wellbeing?
HSW prioritises excellent pastoral care, inclusion, and wellbeing for every pupil. We are a community built on relationships and ensure every student is known, seen and valued.
What activities can students do after school?
HSW offers after school clubs and activities on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. For Junior students this runs from 15:20-16:00 each day, and for the Seniors 16:00-17:00. The club offer changes each term with certain clubs offered throughout the academic year. We offer a variety of clubs from Trampolining, Archery, Basketball, Football, Rugby, Fencing, Lego, Dance, History Society, Debating, Dungeons and Dragons, Art, Computing, Young Entrepreneurs... and many more.
Practical Information
Where is the school located?
17 The Downs, Wimbledon, SW20 8HF. Visitors are welcome to attend tours or Open Days. Additional sports facilities are also located at the Oberon Pavilion ad Playing Fields, 15 Lindisfarne Road, SW20 0NW.
Does the school offer EAL or learning support?
Yes, HSW provides English as an Additional Language and dedicated learning support programmes at an additional cost.
Where can I buy the uniform and how much does it cost?
Our uniform supplier is village sports based in Raynes Park. Th online uniform shop with prices can be found here: https://www.village-sports.co.uk/
Does HSW offer transport or a bus-service?
Yes, we do at an additional cost. We have two services operating across two different routes.
