Head’s blog –23rd June

It has been a week to showcase our talents and no mistake!

Throughout the week, Miss Ofori and her team of colleagues have been leading Duke of Edinburgh camps – well done to the students for meeting all the challenges with resilience and commitment!

Our junior school pupils have been studying for their Bikeability qualifications all week and a big well done to them all.

On Wednesday morning we held a wonderful musical concert for our junior school pupils. They were superb and I am so proud of them all. Later the same day, we hosted a music and drama showcase for our senior pupils up at Oberon. It was a tremendous event, showcasing the singing, playing, acting and dancing talents of so many of our students. My thanks to Miss Lush, Miss Prestifilipo, Miss Castelnuovo and Miss Aldahhan for their support, guidance and inspiration in the run up to these concerts.

Today we hosted the annual Chatsworth Cricket Festival at Oberon. We saw many students from across the Chatsworth Schools Group come together in the sunshine to compete in a whole day of cricket matches. Thank you to all the staff involved for helping to make this such a memorable event. We go again next year!

Have a lovely weekend everyone, and the very best of luck to all those out and about on residential trips next week. I am looking forward very much to hearing all about your adventures upon your return.

Stay safe, stick together and enjoy the challenges!
