We were very excited when Eco Team won a competition to design and decorate a Christmas Tree at RHS Wisley, which will be on display in the glasshouse between now and Wednesday 2nd January.

Pippa in Year 3, who designed the winning entry, selected Sam to help her. After arriving at Wisley they they both headed in to the huge greenhouse to find their tree. A seven-foot tree awaited them, and they eagerly added decorations to bring the Amazon rainforest-themed tree to life. Feathery parrots, glittery tree frogs, shiny bauble flowers, paper chain snakes and huge spiders were placed carefully around. The monkey, hand made by Mrs Gould, was the perfect addition to the top of the tree.
