Dear Everyone,
It has certainly been a busy September for competitive sport at The Hall! We have taken our various teams to four fixtures against other schools just this week alone: a football match, a basketball match and two netball matches. With additional sports staff now on board – and not to mention some very talented players – we are really developing our reach locally, as we find more and more schools to compete against. My sincere thanks to Miss Ofori, Mr Dockery and Mr Mackintosh for their hard work and dedication. We now have many fixtures planned right through the term and I am excited for the sporting year ahead.
Next week we will be welcoming prospective families to The Hall for an Open Afternoon on Tuesday and an Open Morning on Saturday. We have over 150 individual families booked in to come and see us, as our reputation continues to grow. As I often say, we have no plans to expand to the size of larger schools in our area – ours is a boutique school that prides itself on knowing every student very well and developing trusting relationships with each and every child – but having full classes, albeit small ones, and having waiting lists, helps us to feel especially proud of our fine school and fortunate to be working and learning here. Many of the prospective families coming are looking to reserve places in 2024, 2025 and 2026, which is most encouraging.
I wish you a happy and restful weekend, before we do it all again next week.
