Head’s blog 20th June

Dear Parents and Guardians,

What a vibrant and enriching week it has been here at Hall School Wimbledon. We were incredibly proud to witness the talent, creativity and teamwork on display in our school production of Beauty and the Beast at the end of last week. Our pupils performed with such confidence and enthusiasm, captivating the audience and bringing the story to life with charm and energy. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, students and families who supported the production – it was truly a whole-school effort and a shining example of the spirit of HSW. Special mention to Ms Prestifilippo for
her amazing work on coordinating this event.

Alongside the arts, we were pleased to offer our Boys and Girls’ Healthy Relationships Workshops, which provided a valuable space for discussion, reflection, and learning. These sessions are part of our ongoing commitment to pastoral care and personal development, helping our young people to build respectful and thoughtful relationships.

Special thanks to Ms Brockhouse and Ms Prestifilippo for organising and leading these.

Looking ahead, there is still plenty to look forward to as we approach the final few weeks of term:

House Music Competition – Friday 27th June.

Please see information shared by Mr Spoerer.

Challenge Week – Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July.

Please see information shared by Mr Hunt.

Sports Day – Monday 7th July.

Please see information shared by Ms Ofori.

Celebration Assembly – Wednesday 9th July at 11am.

A gentle reminder that term will finish at 12pm on Wednesday 9th July. We have one HSW objective to achieve before we break for the summer holidays. Ensure each and every one of our HSW students goes into their break with a huge smile on their faces when reflecting on this school year.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and engagement.

These last weeks promise to be full of energy, celebration and achievement, and we look forward to sharing them with you.

Warm regards,

Jack Tyson
