Meet Nugget - a very special member of the HSW family.

Nugget is a two-month old hamster. Born on Valentine's Day, he has already stolen the hearts of the children (and Miss Witcombe!). All of the children have put their names forward for the Daily Rota of checking food and making sure he has cuddles and they are doing a splendid job of looking after him. He has also already inspired some lovely art work.  Omer has been sketching him at every opportunity and Nugget is quite the muse.

We are lucky to have Nugget as our school pet.
