It was such a pleasure this morning to welcome parents to our ‘Learn a New Skill’ exhibition by our junior school pupils. It was a truly brilliant event, with a fine array of different skills on offer. You will see Miss Bochenski’s write up below and I am so grateful to her for coming up with the idea and running with it. We were so proud of how the children demonstrated the new and unique skills they had learned as part of this term’s independent learning project.
Our older pupils were fortunate to be given a presentation and talk this afternoon by Peter Andrews, a former executive from the Bank of England. His talk was fascinating and gave us all a glimpse into how the world of global finance works.
I hope you have a lovely weekend with your families and I look forward to seeing you next week. The final day of term is Thursday and we finish at midday. During the morning many of us will be on Wimbledon Common at our annual Easter egg rolling event. It is something of a tradition here at HSW and one I am proud to see continue for many years to come.
With kind regards,
A J Hammond
