It was super to see so many families at our annual Christmas Carol Service on Tuesday night. It was such a joyous evening of singing and it really kick-started our festive celebrations. My thanks to Tim Spoerer and Ria Blees for arranging the evening, and especially to the children for their brilliant performances as instrumentalists and singers. I could not have felt more proud. A shout out too to Liz Murphy and her kind fellow helpers on the PTA for hosting us so well and for the particularly delicious mulled-wine and mince pies!

Well, we have reached the finish line for another term, and what a busy few months it has been. This will be my third Christmas at HSW and I can safely say that, despite the cold weather, the transport challenges, the coughs and colds, the frosty mornings and the dark evenings, we have seen and experienced more most positive energy and momentum around this place than at any other time since I joined in 2021. We are truly on a roll now, and my thanks go out to everyone in our community for your continued commitment and belief in what we do and what our unique school stands for. What a special place this is.
