Well, what an action-packed, success-filled, fun-driven term we have had. I would like to thank all my colleagues for their hard work and dedication throughout, and to our wonderful students for being their brilliant selves. What talent we have here, what teamwork!
There have been so many events, trips, matches and concerts since January, far too many to mention in a short piece, but some of the highlights for me include: the impressive ISI Report, the Iceland trip, the France trip, the musical soiree at Oberon, the magnificent production of Matilda, the rise in sports fixtures this year (including girls football matches and a girls rugby tournament), and the Chatsworth U11 Rugby Festival.
We have also seen our Y11 students tackle a full suite of GCSE mock exams too – thank you to Mr Dockery for organising with typical efficiency and calm. Suffice to say, we are all ready for a well-earned break over Easter. I hope that you enjoy some R&R in the coming days and I look forward to seeing everyone return safe and refreshed for what promises to be a fabulous summer term – the best few weeks in the school year, I always say!
